Kind Words From Tisa's Clients

She's Truly Gifted...
Tisa is that rare coach who guides her clients' own clarity by the simple power of her focused presence. A keen listener, she bears witness to what’s unfolding in my life in a way that lights the path forward. I am able to quiet the clutter of my mind’s busyness and fuss, so that I become more of a human being versus a human doing. I leave every conversation with Tisa woken up to my own life’s unfolding. She’s truly gifted.

Tisa Got It...
I met, interviewed, and even work with many professional and executive coaches in my professional life. When it came time for me to look for a coach, I wanted someone who wasn't the "typical executive coach." If I was going to make changes and feel successful, I needed someone who could work with me holistically in all aspects - as a woman, mother, executive - personally, spiritually, emotionally, and professionally. Tisa got it. The word I use to describe her is grounded. She truly understands all the responsibilities, roles, and demands I have and is able to help me become more grounded and feel confident that I can handle it all.

When I first started working with Tisa I felt like a tumbleweed in a windstorm- bouncing around from priority to priority, and not fulfilling my own needs. I now know the windstorm will likely always be blowing, but I don't have to be a tumbleweed. I'm now more of a rooted tree that may need to bend a little, but can handle the storm and stay true to who I am. It's not easy, but without Tisa, I'd still be blowing around!

She Intuitively Understood My Exhaustion and Grief...
A friend told me about Tisa after I lost my identical twin sister to cancer. My sister’s death followed several years of other kinds of loss (divorce; financial) and change (a move across the country; an empty nest). I had met with several “grief” therapists but felt little meaningful support. Tisa was different. Tisa met me right where I was. She intuitively understood my exhaustion and grief. She guided me gently, gently – knowing I could only take tiny bites. She encouraged me to look at the magnitude of my loss and to be intentional about how I would keep my sister’s memory in my life. As my capacity expanded, she taught me about the Enneagram, so I am learning why I am the way I am! She has given me tools to pivot away from some of my negative behaviors and patterns that threaten to disrupt new opportunities and relationships. She has introduced me to practices such as expressive writing and morning rituals that sort out my jumbled feelings and give me confidence in my decisions. She’s the whole enchilada -- psychological, spiritual, practical, grounded, funny, and kind – just what I needed.

Her Wisdom and Insight Inspire...
I have been working with Tisa for about a year, and her wisdom and insight continue to inspire me every time we meet. Tisa has a very calming presence and approaches her clients with a beautifully open heart combined with just the right amount of challenge and accountability. I was originally drawn to Tisa because of her work with the Enneagram – I had some degree of familiarity with the Enneagram and Tisa has taught me so much more. Her knowledge and experience have enabled me to profoundly deepen my understanding of my life and relationships. In working with Tisa, I have learned to let go of unhealthy habits, approach challenges with greater clarity and courage, and integrate practices that allow me to live with ease and peacefulness. I am so thankful for her help in my life journey!

Support a Range of Changes In My Life...
I truly enjoy working with Tisa. I really look forward to my sessions with her. She is warm, open and without judgment. I have been helped by being better able to deal with stress and conflict. I also understand better now that there are more than one or two responses to any given situation. I feel more open to acceptance. I also better understand what motivates me and have worked a lot on setting boundaries and not always being so agreeable. I really enjoy learning about the 9 types and the motivations for different behaviors. I truly think that Tisa's guidance has supported a range of changes in my life, from small to large. All have been helpful. I had no meditation practice before working with Tisa. Now I meditate every day which has helped me sleep better and quiet my mind. I am sleeping a million times better. I am less stressed and can let things go better. I am also far more understanding of a range of people in my life.

Support Me Through Major Life Transition...
Recognizing that I was coming up on retirement, I decided to work with Tisa to support me through this major life’s transition. Truth is that in my quest to make a living, I realized that I had wholly forgotten to make a life! I was burned out and floundering in despair. Tisa’s compassion and breadth of experience has and continues to support me as I envision and author my next chapter. It is wonderful to be excited about my life again!

Help Me Discover and Appreciate My Own Way...

I had been dreaming of launching my own business for years but couldn’t ever seem to make it happen. Working with Tisa, I quickly discovered that perfectionism and failing to make time for my own dream and needs was keeping me stuck. Within months, I launched my business and now enjoy a balanced professional and personal life. I continue learning about myself through the Enneagram and Tisa’s support is helping me discover and appreciate my own way of being successful and balanced in my work and relationships.

I walk away from each coaching conversation inspired to take the next step. She pays attention to what I say and asks thoughtful questions that help me better understand myself. I appreciate her kind nature as well as her experience and organization. Thank you, Tisa!

Tisa Helped Me Get Through Family Losses & Life Changes...
Tisa has helped me immensely to get through family losses and life changes. She's shown me ways to notice things about myself that I was not in touch with and were impacting my life. I have a different and fresh way to look at the world around me and find control of myself in uncontrollable situations. I understand myself so much better and how to take control of my reactions. Utilizing techniques such as slowing down, pausing, and taking time-outs have been critical to me regrouping and forging the next chapter of my life building confidence to embark on a new career.
